I
am so very sorry. I knew it was a mistake even
as I wrote it. And then my web site came up in
conversation and I knew I needed to go back and
kill this entry, and I did not, for no good
reason at all. I just forgot. I forgot, because
I was having too nice a time in MT, and then it
was out of mind once I got back to Seattle. My
deepest apologies. I am not generally a bad
person. Just amazed by novelty and rendered
thoughtless. Which is certainly no excuse.

Comments?

Dude. They have internet access out
there? Did you bring a satellite dish or
something?

They certainly were
exceedingly generous to you. And this is how you
repay them? And to think it was written while
you were staying with them. This goes way past
"hurtful stuff."

It is very
true. It was not nice, and I ought never to have
posted it. I was just so buzzing with the wonder
of it all, that I had to get something down. I
had a phenomenally amazing time there, and
everyone I met in MT was deeply and sincerely
kind and wonderful. And I hope that I did not
burn my bridges, because uwf were the nicest
peeps ever, and no mistake. I write this from
Cabo San Lucas right now, and if I had an even
choice to be here or there with the family and
the babies, I would choose Montana in a
heartbeat. There were like three more glowing
entries about MT that just have yet to get
written due to lack of time and energy. And
surely being cool is a tertiary priority in
life? -S.

Not sure about being cool
as a third priority in life...once in my 30s I
didn't care about that nearly as much as family
and good friends. I'm sure Montana was a big
change and in many ways amusing, but those
teasing thoughts should have been said
privately, not posted publicly. Only one member
of uwf's family knows about it, and it hasn't
been shared, so I'm sure you're still as popular
with them as you wish to be. Those girls need to
be raised with kindness and compassion from all
of us; I hope we can always remember those
traits. Thank you for the removal of the
original post.
